“Just Cause” an Epic Charity Event to Support Community First at the Boston Button Factory
This event, had over 200 guests at the Boston Button Factory & was truly a unique & special charity event to raise funds for Community First.
Founded by retired Navy Seal Andrew Sullivan, Community First is an organization whose mission is to provide no-cost training to police officers in order to help them better understand, and calmly respond to the stressful, “worst-case” situations officers might only see once in a lifetime. This event was able to raise over $30,000 for Community First which will enable them to to provide training for an entire city.
The Event Featured:
ART: The latest work from the Boston Button Factory resident artist, Ari Hauben was on display including a series of pieces created just for this event, all profits the sale of this collection went directly to Community First.
MUSIC: Beats by BBF house DJ, Toldeo Grant and a live performance by “Mild Bill”
FOOD: Food was served by chef Jose Duarte of Tambo 22 which was was recently recognized by Boston Magazine as one of Bostons best restaurants. The menu for the event included Peruvian pulled pork sandwiches, freshly made ceviche, empanadas and churros.
BEVERAGES: The bar featured specialty cocktails made from Codigo Tequila, Jameson, Malfy Gin as well as Wine, Rose, Champagne, and Beers.
SPECIAL GUEST PERFORMANCE BY: The Boston Police Gaelic Column of Pipes and Drums whose 10 minute Boston Button Factory set has been seen by over 100K people.
