About Ari Hauben, the Boston Button Factory Resident Artist
Ari Hauben is a Boston-based contemporary artist whose multimedia work pushes boundaries in both style and subject. Working out of Fort Point, he’s also the founder and resident artist at the Boston Button Factory.Outside the studio, Hauben is a Boston Public School teacher working with some of the city’s most challenging and complicated student populations, using art as a catalyst for expression, resilience, and transformation. His work has been featured in numerous exhibitions, including the Grand Opening of the MFA’s Art of the Americas Wing, and he’s been recognized as Boston’s Educator of the Year for his impact on young people and the city’s creative landscape.
